Stuart MacLeod is the Scottish BAFTA–nominated magician and producer whose mind-bending ideas power some of Netflix’s biggest hits. A creative force behind the global #1 series Magic for Humans, Magic Lover and Magic Prank Show, Stuart has become one of the most influential—and deliciously mischievous—voices in magic.
A standout performer and sharp-witted on-camera personality, Stuart has starred in major UK hits like BBC’s The Magicians and appeared as an expert judge on CBS’s The World’s Best alongside James Corden, Drew Barrymore, and RuPaul.
His cult-favorite double act Barry and Stuart earned a passionate international following for their comically dark, rule-breaking brand of magic. Their 5-star shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Just for Laughs cemented them as innovators, and they were ultimately crowned winners of ITV’s The Next Great Magician.
Stuart currently hosts Shin Lim’s smash-hit residency at The Venetian in Las Vegas, captivating audiences nightly. Originally from Aberdeenshire, Scotland, he now lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Jenni Melear, and their two children—and still wears his kilt any chance he gets.
